The National Premier League (NPL) started in 2002/2003 and has become the Highest Standard Winter Tennis League in Great Britain.  The NPL has been featured on both Channel 4 and Sky TV.  Over 100 tennis teams now compete in the NPL and battle it out for over £15k in prize money.

 Andrew Castle is a British broadcaster and former tennis player. Castle was UK number 1 in singles tennis in 1986, reaching as high as World No. 80 in June 1988.  Castle presented GMTV for a decade and also appeared on Strictly Come Dancing.
